Once a company named Barker-Lubin consructed two metal, pre-fabricated houses across the street from each other on Oakmont and Old Jacksonville Road. These houses were reported constructed in a matter of two week because the walls (Two sheets of aluminum sandwich a thick interior of styrofoam) arrived in one piece and were bolted together on the spot.
